Proclaimed by many long-time guests as their favorite course on the island, Cougar Point is the resort’s Gary Player design. This par-72 layout was named “Golf Course of the Year” by the South Carolina Golf Course Owner’s Association in 2007. It features holes playing directly along broad expanses of tidal marsh, offering panoramic views of the Kiawah River and acres of needlerush and spartina grass.
Cougar Point is designed to championship standards that will challenge the scratch player while providing an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. It was awarded 4 stars in Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” reader’s poll.
