A Willard Byrd design, Ocean Winds fits naturally into the barrier island
environment found at Seabrook. The course plays along tidal marshes and sand
dunes out to the Atlantic Ocean and back with swirling winds providing a fresh
challenge on each hole.
New "Champion" Bermuda grass greens were added in the summer of
2004, providing outstanding putting surfaces. The course offers superb playing
conditions and is moderate to very difficult depending on yardages chosen and
wind conditions. Golf Digest rates the course as "Four-Star". The pace
of play rating is four hours.
